Behind the Drop: Crafting Halo Effect Strawberry
From flavor lab to fizz, a peek at how our newest SKU came together with a very pink obsession.

Halo Effect started as a mood board, blush pink, soft glow, a strawberry that tasted like a memory. It ended as 47 formulation trials, one very stressed flavour chemist and a launch we're genuinely proud of.
The brief: glow without the try-hard
We wanted a beauty drink with a third lane: real actives, real flavour, and a genuinely enjoyable everyday sip.
The mood board was pinks, soft lighting, a strawberry that reminded people of a specific summer. Everything downstream answered to that.
Actives that actually do something
Biotin and collagen builders lead, the pair that shows up in real skin and hair research. Vitamin E rounds out the antioxidant story. Ashwagandha handles the stress-and-sleep angle without a sedative feel.
Real strawberry polyphenols make it taste like something you'd actually want twice. Sweetness is minimal; the flavor does the work.
47 trials to a launch
Trial one tasted like a cough drop. Trial 12 was too sweet. Trial 31 was correct but hazy. Trial 47 shipped.
The moral of the fizz: every drop starts with a flavor, not a spec sheet. That's why they land differently.
Questions people ask
- How many Halo Effect tabs a day?
- One a day is the daily ritual most of our early tribe settled on. Two is fine if you're layering it with a workout or a long day.
- Is Halo Effect vegan?
- Yes. The collagen builders are plant-derived precursors, not animal collagen.
